I crossed out all of the entry below, because they are apparently all crooks. I really wish that things had worked out differently, but the ITV ship has gone down.
I first heard of ITV Ventures in about September of 2006, about the time that Donald Barrett started this innovative concept. ITV Ventures was started as a sister business to ITV Direct, at the time a 6 year old infomercial company that was making millions for it's owner, Donald Barrett. Donald had a vision of bringing the success that he was experiencing to the average entrepreneur with the Home Agent Program.
The Home Agent Program was a bold and very innovative idea. What the Home Agent Program does is allows the average person to accept calls from the ITV Ventures infomercials right in there own home, on their own schedule, and make a substantial income doing it. The Home Agent Program let's anyone get into the multi-million dollar infomercial business for just few hundred dollars investment.
I finally signed up as an Independent Business Owner (IBO) with ITV Ventures in March of 2007. I was a little slow to see the vision. You see I had been jaded by all of the MLM companies out there who I consider don't have truly viable product, and also all of the Lotions, Potions and pill pushers, as I call them. So when my sponsor started talking to me about ITV Ventures, I immediately looked at the company website and as soon as I saw a pill bottle, I left, I thought that this was another network marketing company just like a couple dozen others. It wasn't until early March that my sponsor finally got it through my thick head that the "products" are not the product. What I mean to say is that we are int the infomercial business, that is really our product, infomercials. We use those nationally broadcast infomercials to drive customers our way who them by any number of products that ITV Ventures has.
Once I grasped that the ITV Ventures opportunity is not about the products that we sell our customers through the infomercials, but the ITV Ventures opportunity is really about the infomercial venue. what Donald Barrett did, was to invent Direct Response Network Marketing.
Now, not to sound like I am talking out of both sides of my mouth, but the products that we make available to the customers who call in are very good product. I have several reasons I can say that -- One is that I have been using them. OK, I know that is subjective, and since I am an IBO, I am not entirely to be believed, that's OK. But there is a major difference between that and what ITV has been doing. You see, none of these customers that ITV have been selling to over the last 6 or 7 years, never had a hope of making any money in buying the products, they bought them because they saw solid value in them. Many MLM companies only are able sell their product because of the hope that the representatives have of making money if they stay int he program. And let's face it in most MLM's once people see that they will not make money they stop buying the products.
Now for more benefits, as I see it, that ITV Ventures has. Most MLM companies have a narrow product base. Since our product is really the infomercial, we have a never ending supply of products to sell. And if a product is no longer viable, the business is still viable, since we can take on new products at any time and sell them via the infomercials.
I started taking calls from the ITV Ventures infomercials in April. I found it to be challenging but fun to do. Most of the calls I have taken are for the Rice n Shine show, and I have many customers on order assurance now. what that means is that while it was nice to make the commission when I took the call, I also get that commission over and over again every month or every 3 months when there order assurance order automatically goes out to them. this will allow me to build a truly residual income.

I am learning that the product is not the "hot" item but the marketing.

I have been working with ITV Ventures for almost year now, and I have to say that it is a rather steep learning curve to get up and making money. The thing to remember is that ITV Ventures gives us everything that we need in the way of training.
Even more than what you can really use. I am slowly building a good and faithful customer base that will pay me for years, that is really awesome.
I agree with the other post here, it just keeps getting better.

Hey I am glad that I found this forum. ITV Ventures is really amazing, it just keeps getting better. The new Almighty Cleanse script and pricing is really working well. I closed 13 out of 16 calls that came to me. Way ahead on my credits. Donald Barrett really has a vision that is working. Oh, there have been some bumps in the road, for sure, but I always remember that the most money is made on the cutting edge of anything new. Direct response network marketing is a new baby, it really takes the best from multiple business models and melds then together. Anyway, We are the right place at the right time, let's make it happen.

I have been working the Almighty Cleanse show alot lately. Since the OAP is 3 months, I have found it useful to call them while they are on the cleanse, so about 2 weeks after they bought the Almighty Cleanse and talk to them about other products. Often in the conversation they will bring up a certain health concern that they are dealing with,and that gives a good in for another one of our products. If nothing jumps out at me for them I use Rice N Shine on the basis that they are now clean and it is good to use good food from now on the optimize the effect and build their health.
I am also sending all of my customers a thank you card with my card in it, so they know how to get ahold of me in the future.

I am wondering if anyone has some good suggestions on up/crosselling all of the Almighty Cleanse customers that I have been getting. It is really fun working the Almighty Cleanse Infomercials, but kind of a drag since they will not make me any money for another 3 months.

I just returned from the Super Saturday Event in Las Vegas. What a great experience and company. I would say that there were over 200 people in the room, most of them interested in the ITV Ventures business and about 50 of the attendees were IBO's. The presenters, really did a bang up job in explaining the business and for those who joined getting them started.
Julie McLewee, the National Training Director with ITV Ventures did an amazing job of not only explaining in great detail many products, such as Naked Minerals, Estrosym, Figo, and Almighty Cleanse. But of also Making clear the vision that ITV Ventures and Donald Barrett have.
We really are in the right place at the right time with this amazing company.

I am working mostly with the Biz Op show, it sure is a challenge, but all I need to do is sign up one IBO for every 7 calls to cashflow it, and then if I find a diamond, WOW!

I have been learning as I go. Taking some Rice N Shine calls ans some Almighty Cleanse calls. Personally, I think that the Rice N Shine calls have potential for getting to profit faster. With a combination of 3 month OAP's (Order Assurance Program), 1 month OAP's and the odd single order, I am building a substantial customer base. I am closing about 53% of the calls now, and making a concerted effort to get contact information on the ones that I don't close and try to follow-up. Another IBO mentioned that by doing that, she is able to get half of them on OAP.
I am excited, Donald Barrett says that this is a 2 to 5 year retirement plan. I have run the numbers, and he is right.

ITV Ventures just can't be stopped. They are making things better and better. Today they announced that Rice N Shine is improved, and the package is a larger size, so now a bag of Rice N Shine will last a month using is seven days a week. The price goes up a little bit, but it is actually a little less expense per serving so a gain overall.
I am just grateful that I found ITV Ventures, or rather that my sponsor found me. All I can say is keep up the good work Donald Barrett.

Wow, am I glad I found this forum. I have been so tickled with the Home Agent Program since ITV Ventures took the time to revamp it. I take calls regularly, and while it is work, it is enjoyable, and profitable.
I have tried dozens of home based businesses over the years, and most of them are not worth the time it takes to say there name, and that is because most Home Based Businesses all rely on me finding customers for them. I am not a salesperson. I am just a regular gal. That is where the Home Agent Program that Donald Barrett and ITV Ventures has invented answers the real issues that us regular people who want to make a decent living at home.
Realistically, at least in my case within a couple of days of signing up, I was taking calls from infomercials right from my home. If a person makes a decent effort to learn the Scripts that ITV Ventures provides in the back office. They can be up and running in a couple of days or a week or so at most.
I am mostly taking Home Agent calls from the Rice N Shine shows. I like the Rice N Shine myself and I think that since I do like it I am able to convey the quality of Rice N Shine to those who call.
Well, I am kind of rambling here, but I am excited about my partnership with ITV Ventures.
I would say that if you want to succeed in a Home Based Business, ITV Ventures is a good place to start and end.
