Elgato EyeTV for DTT on iMac 24″

on Feb21 2011

A video showing the Elgato EyeTV for DTT digital TV receiver running on my 24″ iMac. It’s running with the EyeTV 2.5 software which was included. This product has prevented me from buying a TV for my room, the picture quality was much better than I expected for the price! All of the navigation in the video was controlled via the Apple remote, which means I can watch TV whilst in bed – highly recommended!

Rip off, I can not justify getting this, its over $ 200 (USD). Always a better HD USB TV tuner. . as for $ 50-80

@ CrazyWtfFilms you think the EyeTV or the iMac itself?

  8. 8 CrazyWtfFilms on February 21, 2011 2:08 pm

@ Ninja glock not great ive tried this with PS3 and Xbox360, the image really dark and some of the game screen cuts so its not for games

@ GICTechTV you some audio-adapter cable from Radio Shack as if you do not have because it dosnt have to buy anything to get audio-in. no way I have it but i dont use it for gaming, it cuts off some of the image in wide screen and its really dark. Ive done with my Xbox 360 and PS3. It’s better to just use it for TV

lol love, where you show the nice little channel changing, I’m from the start one, but my indoor Ariel in the attic up to the TV lame atm Denken.Kannst you record from the Digi-channels, or is there protection flowed at some shows?

Vote for your break, you’re trolling or what the hell are you doing with you mac, I’m audio production, video work of all kinds, and Macs multitasking in a different league from the Windoze piece forced me, with & # Xe4; to use similar performance.

I do not need in the wage-OS more RAM. But besides that, every iMac 4 GB RAM standard, I’m not sure how you have to use 4GB as a minimum, to manage, but this is not even close to the norm. You do not have inflated your computer, Apple OS flatulence.

    It has cable on it?

Only lead to the program. Costs depend on your local. In the U.S., you will receive a year kostenlos.Mein EyeTV Hybrid seems to be going easy on the CPU and memory.

actually I would say osx requires more RAM than a bloated os. Do not get me wrong, I love my Macs, but it’s a simple fact that they need more RAM.Ich can go deeper than 4 GB on my macs while win7 slightly to 1-2GB run .

  21. 21 AbortProductions on February 21, 2011 6:23 pm

You’re an idiot. . Macs do not need as much RAM as crappy Microsoft. Grow a brain.

  22. 22 jackrox222 on February 21, 2011 6:29 pm

LOL. 2 GB of RAM. Fail.

Is there a subscription required for this?

  24. 24 ivedigga on February 21, 2011 7:08 pm

    Niceeeeeee

My question is whether the reception is only possible by using an antenna or outdoor antenna.
