Chris and Rita discover that a deranged woman planning to kill her lover is really part of an elaborate scheme to cover up the murder of a wealthy resident. And Captain Ben “Hutch” Hutchinson (Ben Vereen) from Season 1 makes a return visit as does Chris’ on and off-again girlfriend from Season 1, Melissa Cassidy, played by Kim Morgan Greene. Originally broadcast on both CBS’ “Primetime After Crimetime” and USA Network in January 1993.
