What is Digital Culture?

on May1 2011

www.twitter.com – I may not look it, but I am 35 years old. This means I grew up with things like Merlin, Speak n’ Spell, and Atari! I surround myself with toys even to this day, including on the Internet. There are people my age, however, who don’t use mobile devices or even the Internet. In this day and age, that’s unheard of! geeks.pirillo.com – http

@ Pukite You just do not get digital culture. . . It is not a replacement of our lives. And it’s not just a tool for communication. The Internet and the Web itself is a world unto itself. . . There are many interesting people. Of course it’s not about deleting physical interaction, which is just stupid and impossible. It’s about access to a world that was created by our mind. And that’s very exciting. . .

get off your ass and actually enjoy life to travel and go and these people face to face. . . You waste your life in front of a screen and you are much mistaken if you say you have unlocked, you must put in a virtual world of nonsense! The Internet and technology should be as a tool for communication and as a way to find information is used, but not substitute for our lives!

Chris’ comments about grammar are often funny and entertaining. He has made comments on my grammar. Big Frickin deal. It is part of the fun.

  8. 8 skitfreak on May 2, 2011 2:00 am

These comments are stalkerish and weird. You people are getting far too deep and too personal. A Soap Opera would interest you. I’m sure.

He did, but he spent much time on the computer, which probably split this relationship

  12. 12 PwnerOfPimp on May 2, 2011 3:41 am

    no, he has a wife

  13. 13 Anddosdd on May 2, 2011 4:33 am

You have thousands of people online and was connected to the Internet since 1992, but did you have a family? Looks like me your a Looney

  14. 14 Anddosdd on May 2, 2011 4:38 am

chris not funny but you say you have connected to many people, but you have never had children, that are right next to your side and not touch someone far away lol, seems very strange behavior if you ask me

So what speed Internet is free in the U.S.? You can download it here in Australia, but it’s only something like 256/64. Probably for the elderly in retirement or something. And you’re pretty lucky to get 20Mbps. In the beginning of next year, the government is likely to have FTTN installed in my town. Can not wait.

  16. 16 rasmasyean on May 2, 2011 6:08 am

Then, free internet access in the U.S. sucks.Ich am in an urban area and I just recently got 20 Mbit / s cable to the package. But normal price of $ 68 USD would bet sein.Ich in Sweden for that price you get like 40, the means 11 can suction.

Chris, you make awesome videos, but it would help if you do not correct peoples grammar so much.

  18. 18 Chubigans on May 2, 2011 7:11 am

    this guy is fantastic

  19. 19 Freshbott2 on May 2, 2011 7:29 am

Depending on how you look at it. The citizens of Sweden have free Internet access, and they average something like 11 Mbps. Then they can be ridiculously fast internet for the same price that most places pay average Internet.

  20. 20 rasmasyean on May 2, 2011 8:11 am

Free Internet sucks. Even the ones you have to buy a coffee to be extracted. In Cloud Computing in full swing kicks, I do not think a lot of good things working well with free internet access.

  21. 21 rasmasyean on May 2, 2011 8:29 am

Dude, he has everything. Prolly even an Altair. If not, he is the kind that you add his collection of ebay one day.

  22. 22 rasmasyean on May 2, 2011 8:49 am

Short ppl do not age as fast. Less wear on the body with low inertia.

  23. 23 PhalangeStalker on May 2, 2011 9:06 am

I agree with Chris, but I think the Internet should be free, anywhere, anytime

  24. 24 IJUSTSUBSCRIBENOW on May 2, 2011 9:28 am

My computer can only agree with the AppA!
